This may be the driver’s Challenger, but what exactly are we driving here? Officially, it’s called a Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack Widebody. The Scat Pack name refers to the 392 cubic inch HEMI that makes 485 horsepower and 475 pounds of torque – and it sounds glorious. What makes this a 392 Widebody? The bodywork, the big wheels, the biggest brake set up from SRT, and the bespoke suspension settings.

Hello Brian amazing video. Need your advice I am planning to buy a dodge challenger rt scat pack widebody manual or m2 competition manual which one would you recommend as you also have reviewed a m2 in past.
This by far the best produced/delivered review I've watched on the RT widebody. Great camera shots that really give you a sense of how it sounds and drives. Plus it's good to see someone who knows how to really drive a muscle car push it around turns so you get an idea of it's handling. I think you've sold me on which challenger I need to get.
So torn between getting the SRT 392 (2018) or this beast.
Although the handling characteristics are definitely improved in the newer model, the SRT has those bells and whistles I'd lose with this model.
I've had mine since February and I have no complaints
Dodge wins for the most creative marketing ploy for slapping fender flares on a car from the factory.
I bought this automatic, same color in March , basicly fully equiped over 54K sticker price , have 1600 miles so far and wouldn't change for any other car in this price range
Great video, really digging this car.
I've seen countless reviews on this car. Your review was by far the best. Great shots. Simple to the point commentary. Audio was better than many others also. Great job. Subscribed!
The 8 speed automatic is actually pretty amazing. It will downshift and hold in gear going down hills. It shifts crisply and quick. Probably the best automatic transmission I've ever driven.
#savethemanuals. Great review
Wish they had this in a charger (4-door)
Would be my daily driver (can’t stand auto trans)
I love my widebody Scat Pack
This is by far one of the best reviews I’ve seen on these Challenger RT Scat pack wide bodies. Thanks for posting this!
These are one of my favourite cars that why I have one but wish it was manual
Edit: you are a very good stick driver
It's a fantastic handling car. and super fun….especially with a 6 speed manual gear box.
Thats how my B5 blue WB Scat pack is configured but no sunroof for me.
Thanks for showing your heal and toe technique.
MOPAR!!
Sweet! That is one of the best sounding cars ever!!
My favorite Challenger! Awesome review!
Most underrated GT car on the road.
I love this car! Plus you can afford to buy it and drive it.
🔥🔥💯 Nice Video n Challenger Scat Pack
I enjoyed your review! More engaging than other car reviewers out there. Sweet ride… Wish I could afford it!
Sexyyy. Love it!
I bought this car in black in March 2019. Since then I have yet to see another 392 Widebody on the road….I am guessing the reason is the price point….it’s a ton of car for the money, but $50k eliminates a lot of people and competes with a used regular-body hellcat ( from a price standpoint)
Awesome car and review. I love my 2016 Scat pack 6 speed manual 392. If I was buying new today, I'd be taking home the widebody 392. Dodge hit a sweet spot here and in some ways I'd rather have it than a Hellcat.
Except it is missing a SUPERCHARGER!
I think all Scat Pack wide body need to come standard with leather. I think its a only 47-48k+ car without leather.
Fantastic review! As a lifetime Mustang GT/Bullitt/GT500 guy, this may be sacrilegious to say, but I could easily see myself driving that car. Love it!
That car is Kickass. Definitely the Challenger I'd get. A lot of bang for the buck.
This glorious sounding NA engine with the manual transmission is the last of the old school muscle cars.
Great review, awesome video and sound. This is a gorgeous car, but just so darn expensive in Canada. I always thought 392 is the only way to go if you like to actually drive your car and now the wide body option makes it even sweeter.
This close to pulling the trigger on one thanks Brian! Awesome video as always (just not helping the wallet 😐 ).
This is the Challenger I want =)
only way i'd purchase this automobile, a MANual transmission thank you dodge brothers
Once again, great video!
Great review Brian. I appreciate your content. Thank you.
This time I'm going to stop your perfect review right before you mention any kind of pricing.
Perfect car in this configuration with manual. God they don’t build them like this any more. The only thing I change is the color, may be a dark green or grey. Sinister, great noise, and did I say manual. Great review as always. Wow what a car. Ok I hate Pirellis, May be get Michelin’s 😇😎
