Dear Zoom Fly, I want you… to want me.
The first two Nike Zoom Fly were a miss for me. The look was fly, but the zoom was… not so much. With a completely new redesign for 2019, I was curious to see if the updates could turn a shoe I wanted to love into a shoe that loved me back. Here are my thoughts…

Would these be good for wider foot runners?
100% agreed,, feel bottom heavy. I prefer the lunarlon sole more
Very comfortable shoes
I got a pair and dont feel like are working for me, Was planning to use them for a marathon in October. Would you recommend the Hoka Carbon X as a alternative.
Does anyone feel like the 2019 Zoomfly and Peg Turbo 2 have a sloppy/loose fit around the upper? I don't know if it's the new lace system or the upper itself, but my feet feel more locked in w the previous versions. Maybe a wider fit than previous?
Bottom heavy for me too not sure what to use this shoe for. Good looking shoes tho
Would you classify this as a racer? I am looking for a good racing shoe but Next % is really out of my budget 🙁
Nice Kenya flag bracelet! 🙂
Would you pay the extra £50 to upgrade from the Zoom fly sp fast to the ZF3?
no more pulltab tho
10oz…so a Bondi?
what about the width ? does it fit wider feet or size up is needed?
legit and honest review !
No one is buying these
Jambo you have a kenyan bracelet Nice. good review
Damn these running shoe companies who call improvements in a new version when they add weight. Heavier running shoes are NOT an improvement – that negates the entire concept.
The new colours are terrible. Waiting for better colours.
I wish they split the midsole into zoom x on the forefoot area where the curve runs and react at the bottom. With the significant gain in weight it's looking more like a hypebeast shoe rather than a racing shoe. I'm sure Jamie could relate.
The weight kills it for me. If I want to run fast I use my Reebok Floatride Pro…3.5 oz makes a huge difference.
Another great, great product from Nike and it comes in vomit green arrggghhhh
Better off getting the peg turbo.
Just wore these for my first run! Though it’s heavy compared to Pegasus turbo 2 and Next % I feel like it’s helping you training better. The sec you put on Next % for marathon, running is going to be EASY AF how light the Next% is. I think I’ll wear my Zoom Fly 3 as my regular runner! Love how it caters to forward strikexrunners.
I’m excited to try this guy! Great review as always!
Hey this is the running model from jami reviews
I wore zoom fk once and never wear again, when everyone hyped by the carbon plate, the bottom heavy the unstable feeling the smaller insole than 4% just made me regret and I saw the pic of zoomfly 3 and the unchanged react bottom, I got no expectations. And this review just confirmed that😬, since many review suggests the turbo 2 is more firmed, guess I’m just waiting for a good colorway
Needs more reality tv.
What is the price point on these?
bottom heavy is right love your review because it matches my reviews lol well done Thomas
That sensual music…that sexy shoe…these are new feelings…
No Bon Jovi reference?😂😂😂
Thomas, so unfortunately the ZF3 is definitely a no go as a racer. Im in between Rebel, Razor 3 (your beloved) and Floatride Run Fast (not the pro). Which one would be your recommendation for a fast though cushioned Half Marathon racer?
Behind the back was a nice touch!
How does this compare to the GEL DS Trainer?
360p club!
Beat Jami to first!
