Take the Justice League, flip it on its head, throw in some social media influencing, and illustrate that power corrupts, and you’ve scratched the surface of THE BOYS!

Now Jeremy knows how Lex Luthor feels about Superman.
The Boys imo accurately portrays what will happen if superheroes became real. They may have superpowers. it doesnt mean they are upright and pure hearted though. In fact, you can see how ordinary humans who acquired vast powers succumbs to evil. We call them politicians.
This is what Zack Snyder was trying to do but he failed hard.
every second homelander is on the screen feels like he's one wrong word away from snapping and killing everyone, i love it.
Brilliant show. Reflects many parodies and satire of our current events. From the Nationalistic Fox Trump supporters to the Me Too movement, religious brainwashing, social media, Greedy Corp world -fucked up it’s so good!
That dolphin.
The boys is a fcking brilliant show
Kinda thought you would bring up Karl Urban using a super baby as a laser gun and slicing dudes in half and saying "this is diabolical!!"
DC:we are so dark..
THE 7 :hold my compound V.
this feels like the universe where hancock belongs before all the mushy stuff
I have not seen it yet, but if they are doing justice to Garth Ennis's vision, nothing can be more beautiful than this.
I watch it a few weeks ago … IT WAS AMAZBALLS!!! Best superhero show I have seen … fucking ever!
Jeremy go cast for a movie as a villain, I would watch that movie!
As long as stuff like The Umbrella Academy and The Boys gets made, superheroes will hardly go out of fashion.
I get people being sick of MCU's style and tones, but not the genre itself.
Hey jeremy been a fan of you for years! I've been wondering, have you ever watched the OA?
Brandon Bryer grows up to be Homelander
“You played my butt like jazz”.
Why did you kill me dog?
this show is exactly what everyone needed in this day and age where the superhero genre is oversaturated and repetitive, ah ! What a breath of fresh air this show is !
Stole this from a YouTube comment, but the actor for Homelander would be a good Eobard Thawne in the flash movie
Best show out right now
I LOVED this show until the end credits of the last episode. it just ENDED
U should review comics
Anthony Starr NEEDS to play Eobard Thawne
Homelander is possibly one of the most terrifying characters portrayed on-screen. I bet Zac Snyder is thinking, "Oh, damn…."
I think it is a metaphor for actors and politicians
This show is so fucking good, it’s incredible, I think it’s one of the best on tv for sure
Watching The Boys had me thinking. What if Batman was real? 1 of the richest guys in the world. Tech Genius and saves the World. I'm sorry. Has saved the world on numerous times. A ridiculous amount of times. How disgusting would that person be around? Whats the count. Who has saved the world more? Batman or Superman? The human and the actual super human.
Slight Spoiler Alert
Hayley Joel Osmant didn't deserve to be killed off so soon (unless there's an actual story)
'The Deep:' is a fucking sociopathic nymph and absolute asshat to land and sea creatures alike. That poor dolphin 🤕
'Maeve:' drunken self absorbed bitch
'A-Train:' typical cocky re-write of flash who deserves both his legs smashed.
'Homelander:' Straight AAA grade.. just watch the series 🤐
Review Carnival Row
I dont know, how deep does your tongue go?
I dont get it
This show was right on every level funny, dark and cool in a twisted way plus great casting and acting plus may be the best compination between the boys characters for me this is the show of the year
No, no, no…The Boys is a frightening, ultra realistic, deeply troubling, fear based scary series masquarding as a edgy super hero drama. This show, especially homelander scares the shit out of me. What he did to that woman at the end of the season, and it was so graphic…my heart was beating so fast…like, thank God Im not on any medication.
This show blew me away, I put off seeing it for about a month but I’m so glad I stuck with it.
“ If it ain’t the invisible cunt.”
Karl urban fucking up superhero cunts.
I'd watch it just on that premise alone.
I watched the show on a complete whim without checking out a single thing about it – didn't even read the description. Just hit that play button.
NO REGRETS.
This show is some ways turn the super hero genre on its head a pretty good effort. But a better comic recommendation is Japanese Manga named Revolution. Now that shit is really dark. Its more Akira esque though not as gritty as the legendary Akira where an entire world is constructed complete with complicated socio economic and political context. If Real superhero do exist it would not be like Superman but more like Akira with Govt hands all over it. No Govt will ever permit a Power that is not in their control just like how Watchmen shows. Revolution manga is about that kind of World where superhero NOT in their control and its reaction and how the superheroes will really react.
Watchmen, but somehow even grittier and yet believable.
